Perfect location, just a few minutes walk across the car park to international departures.
The hotel was really nice, modern and so comfortable. It’s a great choice for a stay if you’ve got an early flight.
Also didn’t even notice noises from any flights.
There’s a restaurant downstairs, however outside there is a row of other restaurants and places to eat if preferred.
Staff were friendly and helpful, overall no problems at all and can highly recommend.

Value for money ,service oriented , the Bhutanese delicacy was amazing , very traditional and authentic touch.
Front office team was amazing and always helpful and welcoming. The room was beautiful, spacious and all amenities placed tightly.
The location is perfect close to Boudha stupa just walking distance and very peaceful and serene.
Security staff very welcoming and professional.

It's been ages since I was in Kathmandu and I hear it's gotten busier. Bhaktapur is a laid back option--lots of history and lots of local life at the same time. It's a walking town for travellers and you learn how to instinctively avoid the scooters. Pretty much every building has a rooftop Cafe of some sort and the views are spectacular.
There's a little hustle from guides for hire in Durbar Square but they're pretty knowledgeable and the hustle is very gentle. If you're not interested, you can politely refuse and that will be the end of it.
Given a choice, I'd pick Bhaktapur over Kathmandu as a place to hang out.

The temple is really nice to visit. In the morning we could see the daily ritual and Nima gave explanation to us. The location is really calm, open, green and it is nice to breath in Kathmandu ! We went for a walk around, shivapuri park is really close. We discovered the life of Nepali, really friendly. We had breakfast and diner at home stay. And lunch around. Really convenient to take the bus (Stop at 5 min by walk). Taxi also.

Kirtipur is a town outside of the city, about 5km away so costs about 500 rupees to taxi to the city during the day. At night the cost can vary between 700-900 rupees.
The town is a local town so you see very real Nepalese life. Local shops only but it has a range of temples and you can travel to Patan, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur very easily in a local taxi or motorbike.
As it is outside of the city, it is very cheap to eat and drink. Here you will see very real local life, market selling on the roads by night and children heading to school in the days.
Taxis are available all the time.
You have a mountain range view from the town and the sunsets are very pretty over the local mountain range.

It is less filled with tourists than Kathmandu or Thamel and seems to me more authentic. The Durbar square is amazing, as well as the small local temples and stupas. You can find delicious food everywhere, whatever you want, and people are very nice. You can get around on foot, but if you want to go to Kathmandu itself or to Bhaktapur, you can take a car via the Indrive app.

It's really a good hotel to stay at, at the center of Thamel. The staff are very cordial and helpful. I got a upgraded to a room which had more space than I needed. My flight got delayed twice so I had to ask them to reschedule my drop-off time which they accommodate cordially.
I would definitely book the hotel again whenever I'm visiting KTM.

The location is excellent just a few minutes from Tribhuvan Airport, which made my travel so easy. The staff were friendly and professional, and the airport pickup was on time and well organized. The bed was really comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great, and the food at the restaurant was delicious.

Best hostel in KTM. They have all kinds of room options for cheap, the neighborhood is awesome, the staff are great. And the rooftop is one of the best spots to chill in the city. This is my fourth or fifth time back, and it's always great.

From the room to the dining room ( breakfast) everything was exceptional. The pool, Zinq bar, IRD paneer tikka was phenomenal and the breakfast spread was cherry on the cake with lots of choices which makes everyone happy. Thanks to Chef Bhol, Namita, Muskan, PM Shift Security personnel in entrance of hotel and the entire hotel staff. My school Friends and I enjoyed the stay to the Fullest. I will definitely book again for my next visit. Thank you Hyatt KTM.
