I'd spent 25 hours travelling from the UK, and was delighted to find a hotel literally across the road from the airport. Room and facilities were great. Everything very comfortable and convenient. The staff at reception were genuinely friendly and I felt valued and sincerely welcomed. It was a brilliant start to my first (and probably only) visit to NZ.

This was a very clean & tidy budget hotel within walking distance of the airport. We were very pleased about that as our Uber app wasn’t working and all the taxicabs wanted to charge us a flat fee of $45 to drive us around the corner to the hotel. We loved the location of the Ibis. It was an extremely busy evening with some kind of large sporting event but our check in was handled efficiently and we felt very welcome. The room was small but the use of space was clever and it was more than suitable for us as we were just doing a quick overnight between flights.

The room was a good size and had everything you needed for a one night stay. The breakfast was great and it had plenty of parking. It was close to the airport too. Option to have a late check-out.

Fabulous location.
Fabulous location. Well stocked unit with all essentials and very tidy. Good base with zoo/notation/crystal mountain within approx1/2hour drive. Very quiet neighbourhood. Good heating. Value for money compared with other places.
We were close enough to drive to supermarket and Pizza Hut for our two night stay.
Is best suited for a couple we had a toddler and falling on hard floors etc was a challenge.
Good communication on booking.
First time using app etc so took some getting used to.

Hosts were very helpful, considerate and welcoming. A quiet, restful place to stay. A good rural area close to the city but not too far off the beaten track. They have a great setup for weddings for anyone contemplating getting married. Would recommend anytime. Liz.

No milk with supplements, had to find a local shop to buy some to have a cup of tea? Very bad management. Outside in the grounds very untidy, rubbish and dirty bedding left outside of some of the rooms when we were looking for a staff member. no staff on the property??
Very bad.

The location of the cottage surrounded by nature is wonderful.
You can see the sunrise and sunset on the quiet inland sea in front of you from inside the cottage or from the garden. It seems as if we are the only ones staying there and have the view all to ourselves. The only visitors are a variety of small birds and the occasional cute kitten.
The stylish cottages are equipped with all the elements for a comfortable stay for visitors.
Megan and Craig's careful preparation and kind hospitality make guests feel like they're in a dream.

Lovely harbour area. Lots of places and islands easy to visit by ferry. Good varied restaurants and coffee shops in the city and suburbs such as Mt Eden, Parnell, Kingsland.
Very good local public transport. Easy to get around.

The villa had a very nice sea view from the bottom level and the top, there were a few other areas that we did not get to go to although looked very pleasing to stay, the kitchen and eating areas were great. Whitford is not too far from the city centre it is a nice drive. we had a great time and only a short stay but I am sure there are many activities around that would be enjoyable!

Friendly helpful locals on two occasions of whom I asked directions. Museum is well worth a visit- trained soldiers there for WW 2.Easy to get around Papakura walking, fairly flat.pleasant parks.Lots of takeaways of brown food, fried chicken and chips etc. Good taxi service. Some rubbish in the gutters- drink cans, papers.Countdown and New World supermarkets. Farmers and Postie plus gives some idea of the size of Papakura

This is a right-on-the-waterfront property overlooking the shallow waters of the Waiuku River. There are several ramps nearby. Very quiet and peaceful at the end of a cul-de-sac. Bring everything you want in terms of food and drink as the nearest shops are a drive away (a dairy and a 4 Square - 10 minutes). Supermarkets are 25 minutes away. No oven but hob and microwave provided. Wonderful deck catches the afternoon sunshine and sunset. Heat pump in 'Kotare', which is where I stayed. Very comfortable bed & all the property was beautifully presented.

I like Auckland and I was there for a purpose which I fulfilled and returned the next day. It had everything I needed but the biggest thing I liked was that it has Denny's open 24 hours. I was starving I wasn't able to eat until 10.30pm and I don't eat McDonalds or KFC and I wanted a meal and a glass of wine and was able to get that from Denny's. I couldn't believe how packed it was at that time of night. The food was ok- my medium steak was medium rare, the wine they brought me was warm... lol... but I put ice in it and it was fine - just what I needed.

Very well equipped, clean apartment. The location is convenient as long as one has own transport. Not many dining options in the vicinity, but some a few minutes drive away. Not too far from Auckland Airport either.

We needed a reasonably priced hotel room for one night after arriving late at night at Auckland Airport. This hotel provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport 24 hours which, with the price, was the major drawcard. It was comfortable and the shower was hot. It served its purpose well.
