It was a wonderful stay, having the hottub was such a bonus. Everything was clean and comfortable, great communication, and I really appreciated the breakfast foods and juice. Great value, I'd highly recommend.

Beautifully maintained B&B, with great attention to details. We appreciated the electric blanket, the breakfast bar in our room and the little table right outside the room surrounded by lavender, it was the best setting for breakfast in the garden. The property also has a pool and a jacuzzi and it's close to the beach.

Caryn’s home is lovely with a huge kitchen and living room to enjoy, but the highlight of our stay was Caryn herself. A native of Paraparaumu, she knows everything about the area. We found her so engaging, we invited her to spend the evening with us. Highly recommend.

This traditional beach bach is everything we wanted. More spacious than we expected with a roomy kitchen living room area. Excellent location right on the beach, and some great extra touches like recliner chairs, BBQ, books, outdoor table and chairs. It all added to a lovely, nostalgic beachside experience. Special shout out to the owner's cleaning assistant who literally drove through a strom to deliver a new gas cannister for out BBQ. It was highly appreciated.

    All in all it was a very good experience staying and I would stay there again. The unit was nice and clean and the staff were very welcoming. The local Indian restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever had and the service was exceptional not to mention that the prices are very reasonable. We tried to get into the Thai but it was fully booked. We went to another restaurant down by the beach which was upstairs but it was so noisy that it was to hard to hear. We were down for a funeral and had a car so very easy to get around the area.

    Been to Raumati many times, enjoyed the wander around the village and park. Reddin's cafe was excellent with a fair choice of vegetarian foods. The new theatre is a bonus to the village and college.

    There is no Uber, only their local Taxi, which makes getting around without a car quite difficult They do have a lot of Beaches and Reserves close by, and when I stayed at the White House up the hill, I had an epic view with the best Sunset.

    Unfortunately we were there for a family funeral.

    Unfortunately we were there for a family funeral. So did not visit the beach. However we did enjoy Two Fat Chefs for breakfast the next morning. We were able to dine out the back as we had our small dog with us.

    A stunning location.

    A stunning location. We only stumbled across it and will definitely recommended the area to others. Has a lots to offer visitors, including a great shopping area. Our host recommended eating at the Fishermens Table restaurant. We really enjoyed our meal there. The staff were excellent and we loved the beach view.

    There is easy access to the beach, which is pleasant to walk along. Plenty of food options are available, such as cafes, takeaways, restaurants, etc. The local shops are a nice change. It is a friendly community with a pleasant summer environment.

    They were lovely to us.

    They were lovely to us. We were asked what we would like for breakfast and were given a freshly cooked breakfast. Very friendly owner who was happy to help in any way. Very clean, comfortable, balcony off our room overlooking the beautiful views of the coastline. Would have liked to stay longer if our schedule allowed it.
