We spent a night between flights from Wellington airport in one of the lovely rooms offered. The location is extremely convenient for a short layover and the guests are very welcoming.

Great continuous personal service meant we really felt valued. Every comfort was catered to, for example heaters, electric blanket, Sky TV, places to put luggage, bathroom layout, kitchen supplies. Daily unobtrusive cleaning and tidying by a friendly, efficient housekeeper was much appreciated.

Scenery is lovely.
Scenery is lovely. Buses are frequent and the routes are varied and interesting. For example we took a #24 bus which travelled around the Bays, and a #14 bus which took us on a voyage of discovery! The Welington Museum, focusing on Wellington history is well worth a visit. Shopping was excellent. So many good restaurants to choose from.

The one car parking for one bed didn't exist so one had to park outside the subdivision. I had no issues but I probably wouldn't have stayed there if I had realized the parking was like that.
I was offered a microwave which I didn't take but would if staying there as only food related facility was the kettle.
It was difficult to shave and do teeth in the small bathroom sink BUT the facilities were brand new and very nice.
I didn't see Tunde while staying there only his wife briefly. It is a nice subdivision and feels safe. I would recommend as long as people understand about the parking. I ate in Petone shops both fish and chips and Indian and they were very good. One can walk to the shops but at night best to drive - cold and sometimes wet when I was there.

A very comfortable stay for 3 days.
A very comfortable stay for 3 days. Don't expect brand new and shiny but the hospitality is wonderful and the room had everything we needed and was lovely and clean. Great places to eat in town and a supermarket if you want to prepare your own meals.

Great city to walk around with lots to see, especially craft beer brewery crawl and great restaurants. We enjoyed the walk of the waterfront. More attractions if willing to drive. Downtown itself is not easy to navigate by driving, but worth it especially going to Zealandia.

Great place to stay with interesting shops, local museum and proximity to beach. Loved the restaurants and cafes. Simply Grill Kitchen was great and the Le Saigon Vietnamese was awesome!
Very close to all transport options - a great weekender or three day holiday to explore shops, beach walk and eat well!

You can catch the funicular up to the top of the Botanic Gardens, have a coffee at the cafe up there, then walk down through the gardens to the glasshouse and rose garden down the bottom.
Te Papa is a great venue. We also enjoyed the Weta Workshop tour.
A walk along the quayside would normally be nice but it was a bit cold and windy on the day we did it.
