Rosa's House is an amazing place just outside the city of Puerto Maldonado. Rosa and Elvis make you feel at home and they have a very affectionate dog (Kira). My Spanish is not great but it is nice to practice it here because they are very patient. The food that Rosa cooks is local and tastes great. Their garden borders the jungle and Elvis gave us a nighttour twice. We saw tarantula's, snakes and porcupines. I am so happy that we stayed here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

KORYARES HAUS-TAMBOPATA is a recently renovated homestay in Puerto Maldonado where guests can make the most of the garden and bar. With pool views, this accommodation offers a patio. The room was wonderful, had everything I may need - comfortable bed, towels, blanket, table, chair, bathroom was right there as well and the kitchen is right outside. Raul, the host, was very sweet and helpful showing me where to get food, we talked a lot about the animals in the jungle that I saw on my tours, and he gave me a ride to the airport. I had a much needed good quality break after living in jungle cabins for a while.
