We came back because we absolutely love it here! Everything about this place is perfect for a family getaway. The **cleanliness is exceptional**—it smells great, and it’s equipped with everything we could possibly need.
The **host is very accommodating and easy to negotiate with**, which made our stay even more enjoyable. What we loved most is how kid-friendly it is! The **playground** outside was a hit with our kids, and they enjoyed playing with other children in the neighborhood. And of course, the **pool** was the highlight—they couldn’t get enough of it!
To sum it up, it was a wonderful stay, and we can’t wait to come back again! Highly recommended, especially for families.

Davao is a growing and vibrant city.
Davao is a growing and vibrant city. However, there isn't a lot to do there. The traffic problems are significantly worse than last time I visited and rush hour traffic is standstill.
The city has lots of great places to eat, and some fantastic shopping malls. The people are, as always, immensely friendly and the city is as safe as any I have visited.

highly recommended... suggest hiring a scooter near the port to get there as it will be about the same cost as a single tuk tuk journey
Mommy Mia is also an excellent chef and maybe persuaded to make a simple meal for a reasonable cost.

Safe.
Safe. Walking or strolling at 12 midnight and it’s really safe. If that was Manila, daaaaang, I’d have lost items or my life. One thing I found amazing, when people reserved tables at fast-food chains or restos, they place their phones. Like they’re not afraid to lose them and someone grabbing those.

I haven't been since 2012. Downtown Davao is really crowded now. I love Tagum city.
I was there for a family reunion. I love travelling with my relatives seeing the beauty of nature. I love eating in turo-turo carenderia.😊 For travellers, you will enjoy your holiday, away from the city.
