It got renovated lately, and it has a nice garden. The bathroom and the main room were very clean, and we got everything we asked for. It’s right next to the bus station, and you don’t need to wait long to go to Brasov by bus. There are many Uber drivers nearby, too.

Very close to Brasov Airport. Owner very helpful and friendly. We arrived late evening and everything was ready for us. We were hungry and asked the owner if we could get a snack. In 10 minutes we had a beautiful cold meat platter and bread etc.. which was not paid for or expected, which was very kind and appreciated. The owner kept a lovely garden with chickens and organic produce and fruit trees. We had lovely home made food and cake too !!

We were amazed by our accommodation. It was very cozy and clean, and it was atmospheric. Bathroom was spacious and had fresh air from the small window. The garden was beautiful and there were nice places to sit in the morning. The entrance gate had the alarm so we felt safe. The host was kind to wait for us, although our train was late and we arrived late in the evening.

Brasov is a large city in two halves.

Brasov is a large city in two halves. A modern metropolis and a sizeable historic town with medieval walls and watch towers. Local bus services are plentiful (and necessary if you arrive at the railway station.) Explore Castle Bran (Dracula's residence) and the superb Castle Peles. BUT beware if you book a tour/trip, as I was badly let down by the first company which I found on line. Get to Brasov and seek out one of the many travel agencies. The old town square and adjacent Black Church are splendid. Great food and friendly people. Brasov is lively and a favourite place to visit for Romanians.

Stunning medieval town surrounded by mountain peaks.

Stunning medieval town surrounded by mountain peaks. Romania has a unique east meets west character. Venues have rich colours adorned with South American style fabrics and lots of wool and sheepskins. Beautiful food. Skiing is very good here

i felt it was not really a village more like a few houses gathered along the road. A lot of locals and farmers seen around so it is not deserted roads under construction We had the to let cows and horses pass in front of us a few times Its 20 minutes from Brasov center and good access to the main roads

Great base for traveling over to Brasov, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fort, Dino Park Much more chilled area. Wonderful La Prominada restaurant down the road. Playground inside & outside, lovely staff and will deliver food to guest house. Also lovely walk in forest just beside there. Rasnov Fort is closed. But still a fun adventure to go up into the outer walls. Lift or walk up steps. Go to Dino Park just beside on the same day I suggest.

Quaint, medieval Saxon city 15 minute away from Brasov.

Quaint, medieval Saxon city 15 minute away from Brasov. It has its own magnificent fortified 13th century monastery that hosts beautiful events throughout the year. The town is quiet and beautiful, famous for its cuts of meat and hospitality. Ubers go in and out of it to go to the city centre of Brasov if you enjoy the nightlife, but it has its own charm if you want to just chill in the countryside. The air smells of the mountains, and the water tastes like wine.

The location is near the Piatra Mare hiking trails - Piatra Mare peak, 7 Stairs gorge, Tamina waterfalls and gorge, etc. There were several warnings in the woods, remembering tourists how to prepare for encounters with wild brown bears, but luckily we haven't encountered any. The new Piatra Mare cabin was a a welcome surprise, offering traditional bean soup (very tasty) and some drinks and snacks, but sadly the other cabins in the area were abandoned. Good signs and markings on the trails, except at Tamina gorge - no sign was showing tourists to descend on the path to the right and than turn left at the creek to enter the gorge and climb the stairs through the gorge, then go up the hill to arrive at the starting location (no markings or signposts around and at the gorge).

Braşov is an amazing place, there’s a beautiful old town square with numerous great restaurants. The historical town centre is very compact and overlooked by mountains/hills on both sides, it’s a very relaxing place to spend a few days and a great base for spending a further few days exploring the surrounding area, either by car or on an organised trip. The Braşov old town has limited parking so bear that in mind if considering hiring a car versus travelling by other transport.

This is a very nice place to visit and get some fresh air.

This is a very nice place to visit and get some fresh air. The bad is that the prices are quite high and during high seasons you can not get a free table in the restaurants near the ski lifts. I could also see there are several places where new buildings will get constructed and this nice location will become very crowded and dirty. The skiing experience is not nice at all when the weather is not snowy, the snow guns are quite overwhelmed and the snow quality is very poor.

Nice quiet town with medieval fortress, situated near the largest city in the region, Brasov, with its beautiful Old Town, and near Bran Castle. A car is recommended for getting around, although train and bus links are available daily for Brasov. Situated between mountain ranges, with lots of hiking trails in the area. It's a great accommodation option if you want to go skiing, with nearest resorts in Poiana Brasov and Predeal. It hosts Romania's biggest ski jumping center, a regular venue in the World Cup in recent years.

Brasov is way more commercialized and urban than we expected. The old town was nice, but the surrounding area is very busy, the roads have a lot of traffic, and getting to and from Bucharest is mostly a one lane highway which can have a lot of traffic. We expected much more rural peaceful surroundings. It was a bit disappointing in a way based on our expectations. Peles Castle is a total tourist trap, Bran Castle was unimpressive. They are nice to look at from the outside, but really not worth the effort, energy and price to visit.
