Nosotros llegamos caminando desde el aeropuerto que se encuentra muy cerquita. La ubicación es perfecta para moverse por la ciudad y con la ayuda inestimable de las jóvenes, todo funciono a la perfección. Sin lugar a dudas volvería al mismo hotel de visitar nuevamente la ciudad Muchísimas gracias a ambas.

Free tour bus ' hop on and off ' around 10 temples for 3 hours, go early to Tung Sri Mueang to start tour - look for pink open sided buses - great value and very good way to see city and many interesting temples.
Ubon Ratchathani, the east-end of Thailand holds both commercial and natural precincts. Visitors can select various mean of transportation including flying domestic flights, taking buses, or spending more time on the trains.
Ubon is a mid-sized Thai town which is worth a day or two just to experience life in a non-touristy town. There are good places to eat and drink and one or two "sights' to visit/see but unless you have seen a lot of Thailand there are far more essential places to visit. It has some very good Vietnamese restaurants as there is a bit of a Vietnamese influence in the town.
We really enjoyed the big public park near the night market. And the food in the night market was superb — we all ate very well. We got there from Laos in a fast bus and it seems very accessible. If you have the young kids, the park is definitely worth a visit.
Ubon has taxis but for certain times and locations you may have to book one, Ubon is flat so walking is easy. There are many coffee shops at reasonable prices, Street food is goo - try the night market starts about 5pm near the central park.
Ubon was a great start to my trip to Laos (just 2 hours away). You absolutely have to go to the zoo - it's like no other zoo in the West. You can pat the zebras and giraffes and also pat baby lions.
