I won't recommend this hotel, unless this was the only option, or like me. Booked this site in error. The check-in night staff was pleasant. the morning staff, was rude and unprofessional. Like she did not wanted to be bothered. Facial expression was bad.

I should’ve just spent 50 more to go to a better motel if I knew they were gonna rob me of 150, charged my card extra.STAY AWAY! it was dirty and unsafe, the employee Orlando and the young boys at night are rude and shady watch out!!!! Not a family friendly spot! And the roads leading up to the motel is killer on tires FYI. Spend a little more on somewhere better so you don’t get ROBBED A lot more.

Tijuana remains a great destination for affordable food, services, and healthcare. In under 48 hours, I got a haircut, new rear tires with warranty, replaced my truck's clutch slave cylinder, bought Christmas gifts at nearly 66% savings, had lab work done, consulted a doctor and dermatologist, purchased medication about 38% cheaper than in the US, and enjoyed a massage and facial. Shop early and avoid downtown unless you know your destination. Nightlife is best with friends at reputable venues; family restaurants are safer for drinks than bars. Exchange dollars for pesos, stay a high end hotels if possible and learn basic phrases like "cerveza," "baño," and "buenas noches."

The breakfast was not up to my standards. The eggs tasted like water, no bacon just sausages. I only ate breakfast there my first morning, the other 3 I went somewhere else. The hotel charged my credit card the amount I paid at Booking.com.

The staff was friendly and helpful! The bedroom was clean, but the queen room had one bed that could not be slept in because it was so broken down ! They billed a breakfast but come to find out it was cereal and carbs! The non smoking room smelled okay but the carpet was full of cigarette holes! All for $150.00! Wow what a deal ! I'm being facetious here! We were very disappointed with our stay! We would never stay there again! The only reason that we chose that Hotel was because we had a Sentri appointment early the next morning!

Small town with a really good Chinese Restaurant. Very close to a nature reserve with great trails for hiking, and a place to go horseback riding. I highly recommend both the staff and horses at Ponyland. They even have a small petting zoo.

September 2025: It had been several years since I had come to TJ. I parked my car on the San Diego side and walked across the border. My boyfriend flew in. We took ubers. My boyfriend had never been there so we booked a TJ and Rosarito City Tour. That is a great way to see the highlights in a short time. The aquarium at the cultural center is small but well worth the view. We found some great restaurants. Ricardo's has a honey latte to die for and another local favorite very close to the beach condo was El Gran Yo Soy. Good food and excellent service. Rosarito is only about 25 minute drive away where we had a fabulous romantic lobster dinner. I don't wear my glittery jewlery to TJ to draw attention but I always felt safe. There were beautiful sunsets, great food and even saw a group of whales. It was a great romantic get-a-way.

Poisonous ocean water and air. The ocean has been closed to swimmers for over a 1000 days due to massive Humana’s sewage problem. The air at time stinks horribly , and can be full of poisonous gases.
