Very friendly staff. Good value for the price-had two separate large beds for a price where other properties usually offer one queen bed. The best part was an airport shuttle-we felt peace of mind and saved money/time since they offered a ride whenever we needed a ride. We used this one to get to the airport to pick up a rental car. We loved the place so much so we extended our stay for an extra night at the desk. They do free parking.

Beautiful views! Lots of food options close by. The area seemed safe and quiet. Quick drive to the city and other attractions. Meal at Zupa was my favorite( soup, sandwich, and chocolate covered strawberries!) Ice cream at Handels is a must. If you want to see the Great Salt Lake, do it from the Great Salt Lake Marina.

It seems that West Valley isn’t the safest or nicest area of the SLC area. We chose to stay here because we were attending an event at the Maverik Center. Would chose to stay in another area next time.

Be sure your Maps app is working properly. This was my first time to SLC, if it wasn't for my map app on my phone, I'd still be wondering around the city (Lost). It is a very confusing city, road wise. Road construction everywhere, traffic is not for the timid driver. Although other drivers are very considerate for the most part, once traffic starts moving...you better keep up. Just my opinion.
What would I recommend SLC for?

The room was clean and all the furniture and lamps were modern and up to date. I really felt pampered and could ask the staff any questions that I had. I also appreciated that they honored my request for a 1st floor non smoking room and made it very accessible to my car to unload my belongings.

Room was filthy. Dirty rubber gloves left behind with used tissue paper, candy wrappers behind night stand, bathroom toilet had old dried urine. I was appalled. No TV . The manager said you can't have TV if it ever snows. Well welcome to Utah!! It snows 8 months out of the year!! Breakfast area was completely dark!! Manager said he needed to watch the light bill so Ihe would show me the Breakfast with his cell phone light!!!

As my first visit to SLC, I was very happy with this stay and intend to use the hotel again. The staff was very kind and helpful. Always willing to go an extra step when necessary. The hotel was nice to look at, and the room was well equipped and spacious. It's about a mile from the convention center, so pretty central to downtown and easily walkable. The central lobby made a good place to meet with other convention goers and relax if you wanted to before retiring to rooms for the night.

The location was perfect for us during our time in SLC. The size of the apartment was exactly what we needed also for our family. The kitchen was well stocked for the days we ate in.
