I thought this place was an exceptional stay. considering some of the reviews i had read, when i arrived to the facility and checked in the room was wonderful. the room was clean and smelled clean. the room was not outdated, i stayed for 3 days and not one bug in sight. everything worked properly. i loved that the place had a full kitchen, the cabinets had plates, bowls, pots, cups, toaster, strainer and there were silverware. there is also a dishwasher that ran well. at this facility there is free breakfast. not a lot to choose from, but the choices you have are worth it, in my experience at hotels this place has the best free breakfast i’ve had. if you stay i suggest the blueberry muffins! they were my favorite. over the coarse of my stay i had the pleasure of trying the blueberry muffins, chocolate muffins, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, strawberry and banana yougurt, bagels, toast and you can make your own waffles! toiletries that are provided for you for free are conditioning shampoo and soap. so if you wish to have more you should bring your own. they do have other supplies you can buy as well. staff was great, and there if i needed anything. i really enjoyed my stay here and if you stay i hope you do too!

McGhee Tyson Airport is set in Alcoa, which is 12 miles (19 kilometres) from the city of Knoxville. The best way to connect to the city is by taxi, which will take less than half an hour and cost about USD 22.

The hotel is welcoming and comfortable. There are several restaurants within walking distance and shopping just a short drive away. A walking trail is steps from the hotel and you can stretch your legs on the nearby greenway trail.

We came for a wedding and wished we could have stayed longer...

We came for a wedding and wished we could have stayed longer to have been able to visit more local spots.Calhoun's was a wonderful dining experience-you MUST try the banana pudding!!!! Smoky Mountain National Park is a must see as is The Christmas Place.Traffic can be a bit busy but it is after all a tourist area. Well worth the effort and time.

We love this area and visit often.

We love this area and visit often. Our main focus is driving the roads but we do like to take time (or a rainy day) to head to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge or Knoxville to check out the tourist attractions. Maryville is wonderfully central to everything that we want to see or do and has a ton of places to eat, stay, get gas, etc.

Knoxville is a really friendly town.

Knoxville is a really friendly town. We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Marriott. Also, it is close to our son's house and to town. We also enjoy eating at Calhoun's Restaurant. We went to mass on Sunday and everyone was friendly. We feel safe walking in downtown Knoxville. There is a lot to do. One time during our visit we went to a radio station for a radio program. It was such a wonderful time. We never have had trouble finding a parking spot. We also like the Knoxville Zoo.

Only stayed 1 night to bring my daughter back to college Everything about the hotel and rooms was great except no microwave in the rooms we stayed in. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. The rooms were excellent, beds were very soft and comfy, and clean. Everything was great. We'll be back! I give this hotel a 10

We love staying in Alcoa because it is very easy to get to...

We love staying in Alcoa because it is very easy to get to everything! A quick drive in any direction will take you into larger cities with lots of shopping & dining options, as well as other attractions! Alcoa also has it's own list of dining options if you just want to stay close by your hotel. It is also home to the McGee-Tyson Airport, so if you travel by plane, it's quite pleasant to land in Alcoa, grab a bite to eat, rest a while, or pick up your rental car, without fighting the bigger city traffic.

this hotel will double charge you for your room and act like its nothing and they refuse to make any attempts to make it right! i booked a king bed and the room i received was a double queen. the total for my room was suppose to be $354.90 for a 2 night stay but the next morning i wake up and they had charged me $709.80 then acted like it was nothing, told me to wait 10 days to see if it goes back in my account then file a complaint. I attempted to file a complaint with customer service and the lady told me all she can do is put in a request! i 100% do not recommend anybody stay with this criminal establishment!
