It's a very beautiful, culturally rich city with beaches...
It's a very beautiful, culturally rich city with beaches, cultural institutions, museums. In its close vicinity you can find several world heritage sites, like Hoi An and Hue. Although it is huge, you can walk around the city or simply take a Grab, which can take you anywhere very cheap. Probably one of the best things about Da Nang is the variety of culinary possibilities: from local street food to fancy restaurants you can find anything. I recommend exploring this side of the city, too.

Wide roads, not much traffic. Nice facilities on the beach. Economical laundry services available. Friendly locals greet you as you walk past their residence. 1 drawback is that small businesses take only cash, card is not accepted. Hh

I think staying in Da Nang for 3 days is enough for visiting...
I think staying in Da Nang for 3 days is enough for visiting Ba Na Hills, Marble mountains and 3 D art museum, Cho Con, Han Market, My Khe Beach. I stayed in Da Nang for 6 days and it was too long. My favourite place is Ba Na Hills & 3D Art Museum. I eat every single corner in Da Nang. It's easy to get around Da Nang by Grab or walk along the Bach Dang Road at night time from Madame Lan Restaurant to Vanda Hotel. Don't go the month of May is too hot in Da Nang.

Wonderful beach and tourist attraction spots such as Hoi Ann, Bana Hill, Marble mountain etc. Coupled with good local, seafood and of cos coffee is a must. Communication such as English language is still infant with locals. So come prepared with translator app will benefit. Avoid eating seafood at open night market. You be short changed. Hawkers never cook all the seafood selection you chosen. Safe city but caution with traffic. Transact in local currency will be ideal.

We loved this short visit as a vivid contrast to other cities in Vietnam. We live on a beach in Australia so it was fascinating for us to see a different slice of beach life. A beautiful long beach with amazing views from our hotel.

We biked around Da Nang, enjoyed the Dragon Bridge on Saturday night when it spits fire, ate at some really good restaurants on the water and went to the night markets. We had a really nice time in Da Nang and spent time in both Hue and Hoi An.
