Set in Isando, 20 km from Johannesburg, City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport boasts an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The location is perfect since it is within walking distance to the airport terminals. When I checked in, the receptionist was very polite, cheerful and welcoming. I was pleased to be given a room with the most beautiful views of Johannesburg just as I had requested prior to my arrival. The room was excellent and had everything an international traveler would need (including different types of sockets to charge mobile phones or shaving machines). When I checked out, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that one of the hotel staff (a young porter) carried my luggage and walked with me to Terminal B. A truly wonderful experience!

Dove’s Nest is located less than 2 km from OR Tambo Airport and offers a free airport shuttle. It offers a breakfast room overlooking the garden and spacious guest rooms. It was only me and my kids traveling, they made sure to collect us at the airport and they were friendly, helpful. We felt save a specially sleeping there for the first time. And it was very clean

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. Good value of money and close to OR Tambo airport. There is shuttle bus which is a plus.

I needed a place to stay for my mother as there was a problem with her international flight, and she will only be flying out the following day. We needed an affordable and comfortable place close to the airport with an airport shuttle service and came across Airport Guest House. Within the quick rush of reserving and paying for the room I phoned the guesthouse to organize the shuttle and Gugulethu immediately assisted. The airport shuttle was able to pick my mom up in only 7 minutes and I was informed by Gugulethu that my mom arrived safely and will be in good hands. Thank you for the friendly and efficient service.

The food was exceptional, especially the included breakfast. The place was very clean, and we were generally well received by all.
