Set in Isando, 20 km from Johannesburg, City Lodge Hotel at OR Tambo International Airport boasts an outdoor pool and fitness centre. Every room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. The location is perfect since it is within walking distance to the airport terminals. When I checked in, the receptionist was very polite, cheerful and welcoming. I was pleased to be given a room with the most beautiful views of Johannesburg just as I had requested prior to my arrival. The room was excellent and had everything an international traveler would need (including different types of sockets to charge mobile phones or shaving machines). When I checked out, I was pleasantly surprised and grateful that one of the hotel staff (a young porter) carried my luggage and walked with me to Terminal B. A truly wonderful experience!

Southern Sun offers luxury rooms with a contemporary design. It features an outdoor pool, bar area and a buffet restaurant called Bernoulli’s. spacious room - excellent breakfast (a little less warm than we would have like however the staff did rectify this)

Protea Hotel by Marriott O R Tambo Airport is situated in Kempton Park, 3.5 km from the O.R Tambo International Airport and and 1 km from the Rhodesfield Gautrain Station. Close to the airport, great dinner menu. I chose the a la carte option instead of the buffet, and it was very good.

Airport Inn offers a free shuttle service to and from OR Tambo International Airport, 4 km away. Very accommodating owners, beautiful, quiet, safe place, I would definitely come back, the airport shuttle is super convenient too.

This hotel offers modern rooms with flat-screen TV and an outdoor pool in a cosy courtyard. The location is close to the main entrance to the airport which worked perfectly for us. Although it was so close to the airport we found it very quiet and peaceful. During our two night stay we only noticed hearing a couple of airplanes.

I needed a place to stay for my mother as there was a problem with her international flight, and she will only be flying out the following day. We needed an affordable and comfortable place close to the airport with an airport shuttle service and came across Airport Guest House. Within the quick rush of reserving and paying for the room I phoned the guesthouse to organize the shuttle and Gugulethu immediately assisted. The airport shuttle was able to pick my mom up in only 7 minutes and I was informed by Gugulethu that my mom arrived safely and will be in good hands. Thank you for the friendly and efficient service.
