The BlueBay Villas Doradas is an All Inclusive resort designated exclusively for Adults. It is located next to Playa Dorada and adjacent to an 18-hole golf course. The food was fantastic for Dominican resorts. The staff is the best I've experienced. Upon arrival I was greeted with an ice cold hand cloth and beverage. Both were greatly appreciated!! GREAT FIRST IMPRESSION. There was absolutely no line at our 4pm (hour late. Check-in is at 3pm) arrival time to check-in. At every other resort we had to wait in a 20-30 minute line which always is turbulent. Not this time at Blue Bay. The buffet was great! Fresh delicious hot food. 24/7snack was a HUGE highlight. The 24 hour snack bar is at the beach. From reception-janitor the staff was just perfect. Blue Bay resort Puerto Plata, I'm extremely happy with what you doing there! Great job! Ohh, I almost forgot to mention a VERY important characteristic to the resort. Blue Bay is an ADULT ONLY resort that aims to please the mature adult crowd. Another plus, the resort was not overly full. And lastly, the property is positioned on the PERFECT stretch of beautiful beach. TOTALLY private (with the exception of beach vendors), clean, perfect amount of covered beds and beach layout chairs. Both the beds and chairs had a canopy to shade residents.

The Presidential Suites Puerto Plata - All Inclusive is located in Cofresí, 15 mi from Sosúa. We ended up with VIP bracelet experience, which was the best!!! Food possibly the most delicious I ever had at any all inclusive. The Brazilian restaurant was so cool, we had reservations every night at one of their sit down restaurants. All the buffets were stellar. Our Junior Suite had a beautiful kitchen for cooking, and our hammock at Presidential Suites on the deck was the most comfortable I've ever laid in. I asked for olive oil for special diet from the cook at the buffet omelette bar, the cook was like no problem and got little packets from the back to cook my omelette for me. The foam party was a blast for all ages at Tropical Pool, with music we all loved! Staff is super nice & helpful. There are so many pool areas and beach areas and cabanas to find and hang out at. The resort is one gorgeous piece of arcitecture. One night at Confresi we had these light up headsets that I thought how cool for all ages to dance to & enjoy, something unique for kids & teens. The vendors have beautiful items for sale & are super friendly! Found a beautiful beach coverup, and I am an XXL😊😊Don't miss the casino where they have nachos & fresh popcorn all day, once they open and until close. There is a little dessert bar/Cafe down by the Colliseum theatre (entertainers also not to be missed). The desserts are eye popping & mouth watering in this little tucked away cafe, located beside the walk of overhanging bright umbrellas. Do not miss at least one of these yummy desserts, followed by a fresh morning cafe latte. The drinks are definitely not watered down at the bars:) Love their Bailey's on ice and caesars. There is a beautiful hidden gem bar located adjacent to the cafe. Pull back the chain curtain onto the pool deck, and be astounded by an oasis where anyone would definitely want to take some pool bridal party photos!
