We had a lovely stay (again) at Pickalbatros Villagio Portofino. This time, we made a mistake to book just a single guest when we are actually two. In conjunction with Booking, Mr. Haitham made sure to arrange for our stay and also booked a snorkeling trip to make it even more memorable. Just like last time, not a single detail was left out and they treat their guests as best as they possibly can. The jetty is amazing we can find a lot of beautiful marine life there. We will repeat it again.

Located along its own private beach, Gemma Resort offers views over the Red Sea. It features indoor and outdoor pools, and wellness center. Several restaurants and bars are also available. Our experience here was outstanding. When we got there, we had a confusion with the booking, which was our fault, and the hotel manager got out of his way to help us. He even offered us a romantic dinner at the beach to make our experience better. It is undoubtedly the best attention we have ever received in a hotel

Facing the beachfront, Pickalbatros Vita Resort - Portofino Marsa Alam offers 4-star accommodations in Abu Dabbab and has free bikes, outdoor swimming pool and fitness center. Portofino exceeded our expectations since we entered the property. The resort is very nice, large and very well maintained. Everything is clean, and the staff is very friendly and caring. As soon as we arrived, Mostafa helped us through our stay and made sure we were not missing anything and all was perfect. It sincerely was. He did a great job in making sure our stay was fantastic. I have a been in various resort around the Mediterranean, and this is definitely the best one. The pool (where some are heated) are very fun and well adapted for the kids. Ours are 3 and 6 and they enjoyed it a lot. The food in the various restaurants is well above what you could expect in "all in" resorts. They make sure is it varied everyday and you can find everything you need. You have different choice of where to go for lunch or dinner, depending if you are in the aqua park or near the beach. There are bicycle everywhere in the resort you can use to move from one place to another, this is very convenient as the resort is very wide.

Sentido Reef Oasis Suakin Resort features a private beach area, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Marsa Alam City. This Resort is everything you could have asked for. The beach and pools were amazing. So many food options and the rooms were beautiful.

Casa Mare Resort - ex, Royal Tulip Beach Resort is located near to Port Ghalib, 26 mi from Marsa Alam. Ready friendly staff (Hamid 😀) Very easy to get to from airport. Food was excellent! Loved my room and view of sea and pool. Really enjoyed the whole experience and would come back again 😀

Seemingly part of the natural environment between sandy mountains and deepest blue seas is the Mövenpick Resort El Quseir. Everything from the design of the hotel (nubian village) to the wonderful service of all the staff. Food was wonderful, both in buffet restaurant and in a la carte restaurants. They have the best reef I've seen for the last 15 years - still with plenty of colours - and only 3 meters from the beach.
