absolutely perfect location. excellent service-very friendly, welcoming, responsive, helpful. very comfortable bedding and wonderful hot, spa-like shower (much needed at our stage in travels).

We love Base Lausanne! The location’s perfect for exploring and reaching all points of Lausanne. The bldg is a few minutes walk from the train yet somehow feels private. We enjoyed the ice cream shop next door and the nearby stunning lake walks. The building is immaculate and the apts well equipped. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the Asko washer and dryers offered free in the basement. The weekly housekeeping service helped quite a bit. We stayed a month and easily could have stayed for many more.

It is very easy to get to the location. The building is next to the road, but it is well insulated, being very quiet inside the rooms. Two bus stops are nearby (50 m), and the buses run very frequently. A metro station is also close (4-5 min walk). Therefore, access to the city by public transport is very easy and fast, in 20 min you can reach the city center from the hotel. The view from the balcony to the lake and mountains was wonderful. We received clear instructions before arrival. Thank you Laura and Grace.

everything is stunning. the design of the room is modern, and there’s just enough room for us to move. the self-check in was really smooth & easy to do you just have to coordinate with the hotel properly. they even gave us a transport card for our stay. so we didn’t need to buy as we go around, it came also with discount on our visit to château chillon. everything was perfect & i’d love to stay longer!
