Everything was top notch - the room is spacious, perfectly soundproof and clean. Being very light sleepers, the slightest noise wakes us up and that tends to mess up every vacation. We were looking for a quiet place to stay at peak season near Mykonos town, the party capital of the island. Mission impossible :) but that's exactly what Mytheo turned out to be. All other guests were probably looking for the same experience, because the peace and quiet was perfect. Even the cleaning and gardening crew worked so quietly we never heard them. The owner helped us with transportation from and to the airport (30 euro for 2 passengers + luggage), and the staff in general is welcoming and very helpful. Mykonos town is a very short walking distance (literally 5 min), the bus stop is just as close and there are great car/quad/bike rental agencies even closer that that. Everything was outstanding, but the real claim to fame was the leader of the welcoming committee - Cookie, the cutest puppy in Mykonos (happy upcoming birthday Cookie!)

They have room on the second floor with a lovely view which Irene had saved for me since I requested them, but we were on the last day of our 2-week trip and didn't want to go up and down the stairs with our heavy luggage. The rooms downstairs were nice, just a little small, but for one day it was great. Irene and her staff helped us with our luggage to and from the ferry and the taxi. No cars/taxis drive up to the hotel, it's about a 5-10 min walk or 2 min from the ferry. Irene and the staff were extradinory! Thanks for everything!
