This recently renovated aparthotel is located 600 metres from Portara and 200 metres from Naxos Castle. The accommodation provides free shuttle service, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage for guests. Everything!!! Having a jacuzzi right next to the bed was strange at first, but it was so nice after having fun all day! The Portara room does not have a outside area as it opens directly to the labyrinth. Have a little humor as public traffic goes by and I did have to let one gentleman know he was leaning on my doorbell and I helped one couple with "check in" when they mistook my room for reception. If you need outside space ENJOY the roof top!!!! Lovely sunsets!! The dehumidifier kept my room cool and comfy. I only used the kitchen for breakfast. There are little grocery stores nearby. Having beach towels and robes available was so nice!!! Only suggestions for this room would be a stepstool to get to the safe (us short people need that) and a drying rack in the room for items after the beach. Also, I would suggest to people to reach the hotel near the port end (can not remember the restaurant nam) as it is much easier with luggage than the steps right to the door. The staff works very hard to meet all your needs!!! They stay in touch very well with whats app. They made fantastic suggestions on restaurants. I was close to everything I wanted to see and do!!! I will always remember my fantastic time in Naxos especially when drinking my coffee ;)
