This apartment-hotel is in the "old town" part of Drammen, more charming and more restaurants compared to the other side of the river (based on my observation and the comments from my colleagues who were staying in hotels on the other side of the river). The kitchen was well stocked with crockery, cutlery and pots and pans. Espresso machine worked well - more capsules available at the supermarket across the road. Bathroom well stocked with hand wash and lotion, shampoo/body wash and conditioner. Loved having the washing machine - there was a drying rack and things dried quickly overnight. Bed was very comfy and so was the couch in the living room. Easy to cast from your phone to the TV for apps like Youtube and I believe there was also Netflix. Lovely view of the Bragernes church tower from the window (I was on the top floor). Elin provided quick assistance when asked via the Bookings.com app. Easy to get into the building with the app (download Upkey before your stay....instructions to do this came while I was travelling and it was difficult to download on the move) or a provided keycard and into the apartment with a short number. Short walk over the bridge to the train station - note there is an elevator on the train station side but you have to look for it behind the staircase, and no stairs on the hotel side of the river. Wifi worked very well, in fact better than the office I was working at during the week. Coworker had an even nicer room across the hall from me.

Bjørvika Apartments offers apartments in Operakvarteret by the Barcode buildingsas, as well as Sørenga an area by the waterside, a 5-15-minute walk to both the Oslo Central Station and the Oslo Opera... A clean apartment in a new area still at walking distance to the city centre. Lots of restaurants and shops nearby.

Located within 5 minutes' walk of Grønlands Park and the former prison, Botsfengselet, Bjørvika Apartments are located in central Oslo, 500 metres from Oslo Central Station. Loved the locality. We could walk everywhere we wanted to go. It was very central. Lovely fresh linen. Great crockery and cutlery selection. Easy for food preparation on the days we didn't want to eat out. Staff were very helpful. I'd definitely use them again. Great parking. I will recommend them to others.

These self-catering apartments are set in a Victorian-era building, 500 metres from Oslo’s Royal Palace and 15 minutes’ walk from Frognerparken Sculpture Park. They offer free WiFi and kitchenettes. The location is absolutely amazing, there are lots of coffee shops nearby and grocery shops as well. The check in is so easy and smooth, the staff is always smiling and welcoming, the rooms are very well equipped with everything you need, they even have laundry facilities inside the hotel. So I had a great stay and I’ll definitely be back!
