Even though the building looks like it's not going to last much longer, the apartment itself is modern and stylish. We arrived in the city in the evening and booked the apartment just 1 hour before checking in. Everything went smoothly. We didn't use the kitchen amenities much, just spent the night sleeping, had tea in the morning, and left. The WiFi worked well, and the apartment is quiet (thanks to the thick walls). It might be cold in the nights but you can turn on heater. Also, there is plenty of parking space near the building, which is definitely a plus!

We had a very good experience with this wonderful and welcoming Armenian family. The rooms were comfortable, isolated and calm. We had our feeling of privacy. We could cook, wifi was working well and there is a tv connected to internet. There are different way to reach the location, our favorite walk was the one by river and then up the hill by stairs, passing next to Kirovakan Hotel, where there is a small mirador with nice views on the city and hills and nature around it. We definitely recommend this place. There is also restaurant near by called Madera, we also recommend that place. And as a next destination after Vanadzor visit Tumanyan it's a beautiful village with different social and artist projects going on.

We had one of a kind experience at this property and at the village. I have to say this stay brought me back to the memories of my childhood summer back in Iran. The village is an experience you will enjoy if you love life in an authentic Armenian-village. Lake House provides all the modern amenities one could expect in a rural village. Although we did not have time to explore the surrounding due to only one night stay I will definitely be back to stay for at least a week next time. The hosts were extremely gracious. We were grateful for their presence. Meline brought us a basket of fresh eggs from the farm. She also took me to the visit her neighbor across the street who generously gave us home made cheese, butter and delivered fresh squeezed cow milk from the day. I have never experienced anything this genuine and generous.
