Everything was good. Paolo is a great host. The apartment is super nice and has all the needed facilities. Location is an hour walk (mostly along a nice river) or a few minutes by car to the lake (Ciani park). There is also a bus station nearby. I really enjoyed my stay, and hope to return someday. This was the only property we stayed at in Switzerland with AC thank goodness. It was also in a good central location in Lugano. The room was very clean and comfortable and also the beds were wonderful and we slept very well. Self check-in was easy and efficient and the hosts were responsive. We were able to get to Valle Verzasca from this location which took about 1.5 hours. 100% recommend!!

I have no negative things to say about the apartment. Everything was perfect from the apartment itself to the view of the lake and the location that was 3 walking minutes away from the train station and about 15 walking minutes to the center of Lugano. Free parking was available. Every small and big details were thought of and provided for us. I’ll certainly come back again.

    The apartment was cute, clean, comfortable and spacious. It is a skip & a hop away from the bus stop leading straight into Lugano, ~24 minutes. There were plenty of extra thoughtful touches in the rooms and in the fridge. Plus, the level of hospitality and response we received from the host family was excellent. We would happily recommend and return to Il guscio!
