Clean, comfortable and relaxing with AC. I loved listening to the howler monkeys a couple of mornings, chilling out on the upstairs patio & private deck. I also appreciated having a kitchen area & grocery store nearby. The staff were all super helpful & welcoming.

Quiet location in the garden away from dusty road and busy area. Very good communication with the manager. He met us at the location. Without him waiting by the gate, it would be difficult to find the place because it doesn't have any street address as none of the other accommodations here in Costa Rica.

Even more beautiful in person than in the pictures! Lush, tropical garden setting, 2 minute walk from gorgeous beach. Rafa and Ester were very friendly and welcoming. We were surprised the room was cleaned every day, including fresh sheets and towels. The soda is right next to the cabin, delicious generous breakfast and dinner. Excellent value. Our favorite stay during our week in Costa Rica. Would love to return.

I have found a piece of Paradise and experienced a true Tico hospitality at Cabinas Yafeth. It is located at Playa Caletas in the remote part of Osa Peninsula, between Drake Bay and Corcovado National Park. There are three cabins personally built and cared for by the loveley couple, Christian and Virginia, and their 12 year old son Yafeth. They live in the premises along with their extended family. Our largecabin was the newest with AC, modern toilet and hot water shower. Comfortable bed and pillows, and clean towels. All the wonderful meals were served in the dining area. Tea bags and hot water is offered along with filtered cold water dispenser. Cerveza is availavle to purchase. If you want to be in such a place, you must Stay here. You will wake up to the chirping of the birds and crashing waves at the beach. The cabinas are not oceanfront, and the beach is just 1-2 minutes down the path.

The place is very nice, green and beautiful. From the property we saw a lot of birds :). Nelson is super responsive host, and help us a lot during our stay. For example he pick us from the scuba center, drive us to pick our bag and then take us to the beach to take the boat.

Kind, thoughtful and helpful family that hosts your stay; really nice that they provided drinking water for the guests to use; location is at the center of town and walkable; Nice common space in the center of the house to eat or talk to other guests and on the front porch. I stayed for 5 nights, left for an overnight Corcovado tour, and came back for a last night before I left Drake Bay. I enjoyed my time here!

The whole place was perfect! Groceries and restaurants within walking distance. Near all of our tour pickup spots. Beautiful ocean view. The air conditioning was a blessing as it was so hot and humid. Vincent went out of his way to provide a mangrove tour. Will definitely stay here again!

    Everything was amazing!! We had the upstairs apartment, it’s huge. Great internet and the view from the balcony is amazing. A/C in the bedroom works great and the fans for the rest are perfect.

    Beautiful gardens - lots of birds and wildlife which you can watch from your balcony. Spacious apartment, comfy bed. The owner and his family are amazing. He greeted us at the beach to help us get off the boat and take us and our bags up the hill in his vehicle. Helped arrange our tours and dropped us to the meeting point early for this. Super friendly and helpful with anything we needed. We decided to stay an extra night and they arranged for us to move into the bigger apartment as ours was booked out.

    Amazing view on the beach from the balcony, especially as we arrived just at sunset - nice and clean apartment, very well equipped - Ideally located to reach any of the meeting points for the different tours - Easy access, reactive host and people who from Martina’s place who helped us check-in were super nice. It’s a bit more expensive than some other options in Drake Bay but more cosy as well.

    A well equipped and comfortable holiday apartment just outside of Drake Bay. It was great to be able to cook again. The location is peaceful and relaxing with plenty of wildlife to see, along with some friendly dogs and chickens. Vincent and Gaby are wonderful hosts.

    Loved sitting on the balcony watching all the birds, iguanas, monkeys and agoutis that came past, the best view we've had our whole time in Costa Rica! The owners were really friendly and tried to help us as much as they could, providing us with water and putting out bananas to attract the birds. The apartment had everything you needed to cook and was very clean (and cleaned midway through our stay).
