The location in proximity to the beach was absolutely amazing. Having a pool and beach on site was a great asset for our family, especially on days when we did not want to travel too far. Our room was located right in front of a wonderful playground that our young kids really enjoyed. This hotel had everything a young family could need.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alkionides. It is family run and everyone was so helpful as we had to arrange to rent a car and send for a doctor at one point. The beach is beautiful. We loved the balcony off of our room and sat outside for our own little happy hour one evening. The food at the restaurant was excellent, we had the zucchini balls every day! Breakfast we also great with a wide selection of hot and cold food. Laundry service was handy, and we used the drying rack on the balcony for towels and some hand-washed items. We also enjoyed the pool. It really felt like a resort escape. In-room coffee service was nice. Great location and easy to walk to markets and shops.

An aesthetical, quite large and very clean apartment, in a perfect location (only a few meters away from the sea and from stores, restaurants and bars) and with a private pool to relax. Whether you travel for leisure or for business, Miramare apartments will accommodate your needs and make your experience in Crete unforgettable. The location was perfect right infront of the sea. I got a sea view studio and it was perfect with a large balcony to wind down at the end of the day. The small garden with chairs is a plus. The hosts were very kind and accomodating.

    We booked a studio which was equipped with a small kitchen with everything you need. Enough space in the apartment with a dining table and sofa. Nice big patio outside with table and chairs as well. The apartments are nice located in Platanias with several restaurants, bars and supermarkets in the vicinity. Beach is a 3 minute walk.

    Agrimia Holiday Apartments suited our needs exactly, close enough to Plataniás main strip and beach, but situated up the hill in the older part of town, where it’s quiet. Facilities are good with a lovely pool, good views and plenty of nearby restaurants. Staff were friendly, super helpful and our room was spotless.

    Close to all of the amenities and the beach. Loved the apartment and the host, a little mix up when we arrived as we had payed and upgraded from a studio to a one bedroom apartment but on arrival we were allocated the studio and after an apology this was sorted. But the explanation was that booking. Com had not informed the owner that this had not been forwarded to them.
