Wow… this property is great ! We were a family of 2 parents and their 3 adult daughters, 2 son in laws and 2 babies.. 3 months old and six months old. The appartment ( former palace) is located in the centre of Lucca but on a side street which is a bit quieter. There are 3 good size bedrooms for couples and a comfy pullout couch. Luc also provided us with 2 portable cribs for the babies. The bedrooms were quiet and there were doors into the lounge, kitchen and double doors from the bedrooms to the common areas . This was awesome to keep crying babies from waking up others. The kitchen was very well appointed as well as beautiful… soaring ceilings and a lovely chandelier. Loads of pots, pans, dishes … and seating for 8 plus a high chair. Good laundry machine and drying rack were put to use. Grocery store a 5 minute walk Luc was friendly and had lots of reccomendations for the area. The cafe next door was lovely. We stayed for 7 nights. A great property.

    It was great to have the pool to cool off after a day out. We were staying in one if the apartments so we were self catering, there was a fridge freezer and hob but no other cooking facilities unless you used the barbecue outside (I think there was an extra charge for it). There was plenty of storage space in the bedrooms. We parked on the road outside, it was a safe area. Supermarket and other shops close by. Air conditioning was good 👍

    We liked the size of the apartment and the appointments. The kitchen was good, and allowed for self catering We used Alexa for back ground music. It was an extremely well appointed place to stay, though there were a few things that could be improved.

    The apartment is situated in the city center of Lucca, the flat was a tiny but cosy, ideal for 2 people. We stayed there 2 nights which was ideal I think.

    the whole property had an overwhelming smell of damp and there was mould growing over many walls. The owner acknowledged this issue via message and said the issue was going to be repaired following a claim she successfully made against the condominium. but she won’t refund us a penny. it was appalling to let a property in that state without disclosing the mould and damp issue in advance.
