The flat is compact, cosy and split on two levels. Accommodates four people comfortably, two on a double bed in the bedroom upstairs, two on a sofa bed in the kitchen/living area. Equipped with a kitchen as in the promotion pictures. It was exceptionally clean and just off the promenade, steps away from the local church, pizzeria, bakery, pharmacy, bars and cafeteria. Ideal for anyone who wishes to tour the whole of Lake Iseo and find an accommodation in the middle. It is only 11 minutes by car to the pyramids of Zone and within a 30 minutes stroll to Vello to start the pedestrian walk. Also, it is a very short drive away from Sulzano to fetch the ferry to Monteisola. Marone is less touristic than the other towns, thus one can appreciate its authentic feel. The owner was very accommodating and flexible re: check in and check out time. Much recommended.

Private amazing garden (only shared with the people who live in the house, but everyone was very nice!) most of the time we were completely alone in the garden. We especially loved the possibility to cook outside in the garden! The apartment is downstairs but still light enough to spend a nice time inside. It is well equipped with everything you might need (kitchen, etc.) and everything was very clean.

We had a really warm welcome by Nicola, who is an extremely helpful and well organized host. It’s very calm and relaxing to spend the time in the wonderful garden with its olive trees and just read or relax at the dock or in the hammock. But if you’re looking for more action, there’s also plenty to do in the area like cycling, water sports or hiking. In Marone you’ll find bars/cafes.
