The pictures don't do the apartment justice as it's much bigger than the photos suggest. The bed was comfortable, the water hot and the kitchen well equipped. But, it was the owner and his aunt who made my stay special. They were very friendly and her coffee was delicious. Tip..go to the Kawon bookstore which is a design marvel and has very tranquil garden cafe.

Location! It’s near the center and no more than 10 minutes to walk anywhere you need to go. There’s private off-street parking (look for the sign, the driveway is a bit hidden). It’s clean, quiet, and comfortable. Our flat was as-described and pictured, and it was well-appointed with most everything you would need for a basic short or long stay, including a washing machine. The shower was great - plenty of hot water. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating. Absolutely no complaints at all, and I would certainly stay here again on future trips to Madaba.

We loved staying at Carmen’s. The room was clean, large, well equipped and very comfortable. Carmen and her family were very kind and helpful. Everything you could want is here. The balcony was lovely on a quiet street with stores just a block away. Free parking on the street in front.

Quick and effective communication with Emile. Very spacious apartment at a low cost. Nice and bright lighting with fluorescent tubes. Safe and secure locatjon. About a 10-minute walk to St. George Church and the Maraba Archaeological Park. Street parking is available. Small grocery store across the street and a few bakeries and restaurants a couple of blocks away.

Everything! Apartment is great, fully equipped and very clean. Its on excellent position to explore the city. Early/late check-in/check-out is not a problem. One of the best apartments I ever stayed in. But, the apartment is not the star in this case. The star is the host. Mr. Maher is one of best people I ever had privilege to meet in my life. He is exact example of Jordan hospitality. I would highly recommend this apartment to anybody staying in Madaba, not just its great apartment, but because its managed by nice human being.

I had the best time at Simple Home. The room was very large and very clean with everything you need. You also have access to a very large outdoor area with a hammock and fantastic views. But what made my stay special was the family, they were very friendly and made me feel like I am part of the family. We sat together drinking tea, playing chess and spoke for hours. The meals prepared were also delicious. Ali even took me to the Dead Sea, Main Spring and other sights around which made my trip very special. He even came to Amman to pick me up. I have stayed in many places using Airbnb and Booking and this has got to be the best place I have stayed in so far. It is unlike a hotel and more of a family home. I highly recommended staying here for a few nights. I will be visiting again for sure.

They helped us order take away on the first night and also provided us with all the necessities to clean our rental car which we needed to return the last day of our stay. Upon arrival we were offered a room upgrade. Due to group bookings we received a small apartment which was a lot more quiet and more spacious than the room we originally booked. Breakfast - as mentioned by many other guests - is lavish with plenty of choice for anyone.

The family speak very good English too, so it was very easy and comfortable.
