    If you have your own transport, the Barcalla Hotel Apartments are a great place to stay in Maseru. 15min out of town, but located just off the Main North Rd, its a perfect launching point to discover Lesotho. The room was very comfortable and well appointed and the hosts were very welcoming.

    Beautifully appointed new two bedroom apartment with all comforts, including electric blankets! Really nice beds, super clean, all appliances in the kitchen, kind and approachable owners next door who have provided all needed for breakfast and were available for help with locations and routes. Amazing hospitality! There is a small but lovely garden and opportunity to take your morning tea or coffee in a tranquil space among succulents and flowers.

    Palesa is such a warm welcoming woman and offers a lot of complementary things during your stay. The Apartment has a modern equipment with everything you need. It’s just a feel-good atmosphere. As I wasn’t able to find the right direction in the darkness due to heavy rainfalls and a damaged road she came to pick me up. She and her staff also fixed my issue with a flat tire at the next morning. I’m still speechless and so thankful for that. This accommodation will always be my first choice in Maseru. Thank you Palesa.
