The are is totally safe, there are a fair few homeless around but they don't interact with passers by. The building is also completely secure. The apartment is of modern design and is well stocked with essentials: bedding, flatware, appliances. Some previous guests were nice enough to leave their streaming accounts logged in on the smart TV. The building is secured with 24 guards, key-cards to unlock the elevator, and a 6-digit door code at the apartment. The apartment has a Yale 89088 safe which is quite roomy.
