New home with spacious rooms. Nice views. Modern. Comfortable layout. A wonderful home! Spacious rooms. Windows that open easily! Washer machine is splendid. Location is a ten minute walk from the trailhead of an outstanding hike called Nonstinden and Ballstadheia. Ballstad initially looked to us like a sleepy village but it’s a gem with an excellent location for the outdoors.

It was much bigger than I had anticipated, offering spacious and comfortable accommodations that made me feel right at home. The attention to detail in the design and decor was impressive, blending seamlessly with the breathtaking surroundings. It truly felt like a cozy oasis nestled amidst the stunning natural wonders of the Lofoten Islands. However, what truly set this place apart was the warmth and hospitality of the hosts. From the very first greeting, they went above and beyond to ensure my stay was unforgettable. They were incredibly friendly, accommodating, and passionate about sharing their love for the Lofoten Islands. Their local insights and recommendations made my trip even more special, allowing me to explore hidden spots and experience authentic Lofoten culture. But it was the views that stole the show. "Spectacular" doesn't even begin to describe the vistas that greeted me each morning. Imagine waking up to the sight of majestic snow-capped peaks, mirrored in crystal-clear fjords that sparkled like diamonds. It’s easy to check in and easy to find the location because the host gave every details you need to know through inbox message. The room was so large for us (4 persons) and the kitchen was fully equipped. The host was super nice, she told us what time we could see the northern light and it’s just right on time to experience just in front of the house. It has heating floor in the bathroom and the host provided all amenities.

    - the flat is perfectly located : Ballstad is a charming and quiet place in the middle of Lofoten, perfect for hiking and little bit away from the crowd - the apartment is even better than the pictures, the view is amazing, all fournitures are modern. We loved watching at the mountain on the other side of the harbour - the host is helpful. He helped me on a topic not related to the flat, we really appreciated it To sum up, we loved everything about this accomodation

    Very lovely and quaint traditional-style cabin right near the water. The cabin was very clean (including the modern renovated bathroom) and had everything we needed for a short stay. Communication with the host as well as check-in and check-out were very easy. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay here again.

    Nothing bad to say about the apartment. It was absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect as we were doing a road trip across the Lofoten Islands. The flat is spacious and has everything you might need. The view was incredible. Check-in and check-out was easy thanks to Lars.
