Right in the city center, near to the roman wall. Apartment as in description. Keys were at the cafe next door: easy to check in, easy to check out. A little Spanish while talking on the phone to the owner will help a lot. We didn't reserve a car parking place in advance, so the parking place was full and we had to park in a public parking, some 15 minutes walk away. We let the main luggage in the car and was no problem because the parking place was safe for car and goods/luggages. There is a posibility of doing the laundry yourself in the apartment, which is perfect for people in circuit. A quiet place to relax and to peace your mind. Best place to relax after one day of traveling. If back in Lugo, we will stay at Apartmentos Porta Nova again, but we would also reserve the parking place in advance. :)

I mentioned that I was going to propose to my spouse around that time and they had put champagne, strawberries, some chocolates and balloons in the appartment. The hosts/property managers are very responsive via email/WhatsApp/etc. They are helpful when it comes to information regarding Santiago de Compostela. The apartment was split level, the bed and study desk are at the loft, and the dining table and kitchen are on the main level. Bed is comfortable, cabinets are very spacious, towels are fluffy, the kitchen is practically complete with most appliances available. There are a couple of washing machines plus dryer on the lower level. It is about 30 minutes walk to the Cathedral, but there is a bus (1EU) that goes to the center of the city and the bus stop is less than a couple of minutes walk away.
