It was very well equipped - including a dryer in addition to the washer, which is quite rare in most French rentals. The apartment itself was spacious, spotless, and ideally located: right in the center of Capbreton, close to shops and restaurants, yet remarkably quiet. Communication with the host was excellent; he stayed in touch even before my arrival and was attentive throughout. I especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome treats - candies, bottle of cider, and so on. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommended!

He was also very helpful with recommendations. The room was very modern and spotlessly clean. It was one of the most comfortable rooms we stayed in out of 17 different places we stayed in over our trip across France and Spain. Philippe even offered us free bikes to tour around Veaux Bocau. He also does a great breakfast. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

Situated on Aquitaine’s coast, Résidence Hôtelière les Acanthe is just opposite Hossegor Lake and1 km from Océane beach. It offers studios and apartments with a view.

We just spent 1 week at Les Acanthes and the place is really nice, very worth it! The family who owns the place is so kind and they will automatically make you feel at home. It seems it was recently renovated with a very fresh look, the apartments are spacious, beautiful and really well designed. Super comfortable bed and they did a great job with the kitchenette’s design where you will find everything you need to cook, wash and clean. Location is absolutely great, in front of the lake, 10 min walking to the center of the village with restaurants around. Definitely would love to come back to this place!
