The rain shower was wonderful too...I could've spent a day under it lol. The location is convenient and we had everything we needed. To top it off, there is a lovely view from the living space and back bedroom. We would definitely visit again!

Host was also excellent staying in touch and very helpful providing storage for suitcases when we checked out and even delivered our cases to the ferry port so we could enjoy our last few hours in Rothensey. Local people very very friendly & helpful. Most places yet to open properly for the season. Suggest going at end of May to catch a better flavour of what would be available such as bus & boat tours. We relied on buses and were able to visit mount stuart house but nothing else. Local museum in Rothensey a must but not open on a Monday. We hope to return again. Thanks

This enchanting Edwardian country house is home to 5 modern, self-catering apartments, with free Wi-Fi and free parking on site. Kilchurn suites 1 & 2 are on the top floor of the house, entry to them is through a grand entrance hall with sweeping staircase. Kilchurn Suites 3, 4 & 5 are located in the extension, in the courtyard area of the house. Each suite has their own entrance. We lived on the third floor of this 120-year-old house.
