Thanks to his insight, we got to explore the real, vibrant side of Crete — not just the touristy parts. Stelios has a rare gift. He understands people, anticipates their needs, and makes you feel like more than just a guest — he makes you feel like a friend. You can tell he's been in this business for a long time, and he truly loves what he does. We've already promised to return in the next couple of years, this time with our child — and I can’t wait to see Stelios again and experience his warm hospitality once more. Our room was recently renovated — everything smelled fresh and new, the bed was incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the view... breathtaking. One of the best in Rethymno. The spacious balcony was also a great bonus. The breakfast was fresh and diverse every morning, with options for every taste. The food by the pool was a huge (and delicious) surprise — high-quality, beautifully prepared, and served quickly. The entire staff was polite, efficient, and always ready to help. Housekeeping was impeccable — not just surface-level cleaning, but real attention to detail. Archipelagos isn’t just a place to stay. It’s a place to feel welcome, to feel cared for, to relax, and to make memories. Mr. Stelios and his team created something special here — and we’ll always be grateful for it.

Featuring an a la carte restaurant, Elafonisi Resort by Kalomirakis Family is set amidst a garden with olive trees. It offers air-conditioned accommodation, some self-catering, and free Wi-Fi in public areas. The popular Elafonisi Beach is 650 metres away. They have really really good food at the restaurant and very close to the beach. Staff extremely nice.

It’s situated right by a beautiful, quiet beach, which made the stay even more relaxing. The pool and beach area are both very pleasant. Free parking is available close to the hotel, which was super convenient. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommended, it was good value for money as well.

They are fitted with an LCD TV, kitchenette and fridge, and enjoy free Internet access. Our stay at Kavos on Crete was perfect! We were in a junior suite with pool (#6), and everything about it was amazing. It is in a relatively remote location, so absolute perfection if you really want to disconnect and relax. We actually saw more fish snorkeling in their cove than anywhere else! Food and drinks were great and well priced. Highly recommend for travelers who was a true break from their hectic lives!
