The host even picked me from the harbour as a storm was approaching to Cres, and saved from walking to apartment with luggage in the middle of the storm, so I am really thankful. On the other hand, if you are arriving with catamaran from Rijeka, its maybe 10mins walking distance from the apartment, but apartment is really located in strict centre of Cres where you actually see the original old streets and passages whats really something special.

Located 500 metres from Melin Beach, Villa Orhideja offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Nice place with its own and free parking place which is quite rare in Croatia.

Francesca is an outstanding host, she even helped us arrange a taxi when our catamaran to Rijeka got cancelled and drove us to another port! Location was excellent, just a couple of minutes walk to the main square / marina. The apartment was lovely, had a little communal courtyard in which to sit. Key pick up was easy from the shop near-by.

Location is perfect in the center of town Cres, yet it is very quiet in the apartment. The apartment itself was very clean and the hosts really welcoming and hospitable. I liked the most the small terrace at the back of the apartment, where we enjoyed drinking our morning coffee and having breakfast. The bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend Filipas apartments and would definitely stay again there next time I come to Cres. There is also a private parking nearby, only 4 minutes on foot.

We slept very well and it was very peaceful. Gorast even let us borrow his paddleboard and bikes which made getting around so easy. There were some big thunderstorms while we were there but it wasn't a problem as the apartment had a great smart TV with Netflix :)
