Palazzo D Albis is 300 mt from the apartment. The nearest airport is Alghero Airport, 7 km from Casa Vacanze San Michele. After a horrible experience at another local B and B which was not clean (B and B Big Fish Alghero), I needed to find a different place to stay, and chose Casa Vacanze San Michele. I was warmly welcomed 30 minutes after making the booking by the property manager and host, Antonio. The apartment was spacious, modern, with every amenity I needed, and it was *sparkling* clean. Antonio was so kind, and made a dinner reservation for me at an amazing local restaurant, as it was late, and I was frazzled from having to make a last minute arrangement in the evening. The apartment is located in a wonderful part of Alghero. I felt safe and also near people, restaurants, and shops, which is important as a solo traveler. I slept soundly in the comfortable bed with the blackout window shade, and then in the morning, enjoyed a partial sea view outside of my balcony. Antonio provided excellent recommendations for my stay (the best beaches, where to buy souvenir food products, guidance on where to park) and was so professional and kind. I decided to stay there again later on during my trip and Antonio offered a personalized tour of Alghero, focused on beautiful beaches and vistas (my favorite!). This tour was amazing, hearing things from a local’s perspective, and seeing the best spots and learning some of the history of Alghero. I fell in love with beautiful Alghero even more after that! The tour is not included in the booking, but it was one of my absolute favorite parts of the trip, ask Antonio about this! Not only was the property amazing, but I feel that Antonio’s warmth, his service focus, and his professional manner, made all the difference. It is clear that he cares that his guests have an excellent stay and he goes above and beyond to help make that happen. I will always choose Casa Vacanze San Michele when I return!

Offering garden views, Boutique Studio is an accommodation situated in Alghero, less than 1 km from Spiaggia di Las Tronas and a 13-minute walk from Lido di Alghero Beach. This apartment is 10 km from Nuraghe di Palmavera and 24 km from Capo Caccia. Carl, the host, was very friendly and took excellent care of us upon check-in. We had many questions about the city and the surrounding area before arrival and Carl took the time and effort to answer all of our questions extensively. He even called all of his contacts trying to make a reservation when we didn’t have one on one of the busiest weekends of August. The studio itself was recently renovated and has all the quirks of a modern interior. We were really pleased with the spacious bathroom, the convenient amenities and the overall cleanliness. Also, the bed was very comfortable and felt like we were sleeping on clouds. Just a walking distance away from the old town, the studio is located in a prime area. It’s easily accessible by car and there plenty of free parking spaces in front and nearby the entrance. There’s also a little shop next door that sells really good panini’s if you need a quick breakfast and/or lunch. Overall a very nice experience!
