I can’t think of a better review than that, frankly. We loved opening up the big picture windows and enjoying the canal, watching and waving to the many dozens of boats that motored quietly by, tossing old bread to the geese and ducks, and enjoying the pleasant breezes that blew through. I’ve stayed in countless very nice riverfront or waterside hotels, but none compare to this peaceful, very private experience. I’d always wanted to stay on a houseboat like this, in an awesome city like Amsterdam, and I wasn’t disappointed when my wish came true!

Anushka was extremely welcoming and friendly. The communication was seamless. The house is so cozy, extremely clean and with thoughtful design. You have fully equipped kitchen, lovely backyard and super comfortable bed . We felt at home! We definitely recommend the place and would love to be back one day!

We arrived by bus from edam in the morning and we were able to leave our bags which was great. Very convenient for everything. Really nicely renovated and in keeping. The courtyard outside is a bonus- to sit and have a drink. A fridge and microwave so all we needed. The bedrooms are lovely.
