Generous free breakfast of cereal, juice, croissants coffee and toast included in price (in the garden bar under apartment). Best of all was the welcome though. Staff of bar are great and the beer, popcorn and bruschetta were very welcome after a big day cycling. We were also given a free bottle of locally made wine which we drank sitting on the balcony watching the sun go down across the valley.

Additional in-room amenities include wine or champagne. The hosts Mateija & Mitija were so lovely. We were traveling for my wedding and my grandparents were staying at Vila Ana. Who struggle to get around, however Mitija arranged to pick up my grandparents at the entrance of the castle and take them right up to the door. They were so accommodating and kind. The rooms were adorable and well presented. My family were very happy and comfortable. Highly recommend Vila Ana.

Having travelled all over Europe, this is hands down the best apartment I have ever stayed in. It is immaculately clean, has everything you could ever dream of having in an apartment and the hosts are incredibly thoughtful - leaving a plate of meats and fresh bread for my arrival. The outdoor space is huge and very private and there is lots to see, do and walk around, nearby. Amazing value for money too.

We were quite tired from our long hot car journey and come to find out, the apartment had a double AC system to nicely cool us off. The garden in the backyard was the icing on the cake. We spent the cool evenings there enjoying some incredible Slovenian beers. 15 minute drive from the Lipica Stud Farm 20 minute walk from Skocjan Caves
