If you’re not already familiar with the Winter X Games, it’s a global gathering of the world’s finest extreme sports athletes.

And the next one is coming up soon at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, Colorado, from January 26 - 29, 2017. For four days, athletes and spectators will come together to immerse themselves in action sports, live music, and festival vibes.

Arc 2000, Rhône-Alpes, France

Of the four sites that make up the world-famous Les Arc ski resort, Arc 2000 is the largest, with an elevation of 6889 feet. It also has access to the Peisey-Vallandry ski resort, so offers a combined 425 km of slopes to shred.

Zürs am Arlberg, Vorarlberg, Austria

Zürs am Arlberg has 305 km of ski runs and 200 km of high Alpine deep powder runs. Skiers also have the unique opportunity to travel The White Ring, a ski circuit that spans 22 km and changes 18,044 feet in elevation.

Elliot Lake boasts an impressive 281 km of groomed trails that connect to more than 2092 km of more trails throughout the region. These span from the deep backcountry to the downtown core, meaning you can make your trip as extreme as you want.
