At this museum, you will get a chance to learn about the life of the locals under the former German Democratic Republic (GDR) regime.

The exhibition is divided into three themed areas, where you can understand the public life, state and ideology and life in a tower block during the GDR era. You will also have the opportunity to explore interactive exhibits, including various artefacts, a real Trabant car and a fully furnished DDR flat.

Children aged 0–5 years can participate for free.

A reduced-price ticket is available for pupils, students, trainees, and disabled people who can provide appropriate certification of their disability.

Please note that the operational hours of the museum are daily from 09:00–21:00.
