Experience the traditional cuisine of the Basque Country in a way few other visitors to the city can claim. This comprehensive San Sebastian cooking class, taught by a professional chef in a historic family restaurant, will give you a crash course in the essentials of regional cooking. Get hands-on in preparing classic recipes: the Gilda pintxo, Spanish potato omelet, cod in pil pil sauce, red piquillo peppers, and the renowned burnt cheesecake. Throughout your San Sebastian cooking class, you'll learn new skills like how to perfectly flip a Spanish tortilla, gain a deeper appreciation of the city's culinary culture, and unpack the stories behind each dish as you cook. Finally, it's time to sit down to savor the dishes you've prepared with the perfect drink: Basque cider and two glasses of wine. Leave with copies of the recipes and an apron so you can enjoy these special Basque dishes back at home long after your trip is over.
