On this small-group tour, you’ll get a closer look at St Stephen’s Basilica, one of Budapest’s most recognisable landmarks. As you pass intricate gold frescos and sculptures, you'll learn about the city's Christian history from your guide.
Built in the 19th century, the basilica is home to the relic of the Holy Right – the mummified right hand of the first Hungarian king Saint Stephen that dates back to the 11th century. You’ll have the opportunity to see the relic and then head upwards to the dome tower for a panoramic view across the city.
After the tour, you’ll have access to the treasury and history exhibition, which you can explore at your own pace.
