This morning or afternoon experience will give you the chance to go shopping in Perugia's local markets, followed by a cooking class at a Cesarina's home.
The Cesarina – your host, a native food expert and cook – will highlight the area's specialities and give you insights into creating traditional dishes. Accompanied by your host, you will visit some popular food stores and local markets to learn how to select the best ingredients for a meal. You can then make your way to your host's home for a private cooking session.
Together, you will create an authentic three-course meal of Perugia's delicacies using the ingredients you shopped for earlier in the day. The experience will conclude with a tasting of the meal along with Sicilian white and red wine pairings.
