Both cenotes are part of the Dos Ojos cave system. It is a must-see experience. The connected system Sistema Sac Actun-Nohoch-Dos Ojos is today the world’s second-largest underwater cave system, with 376,7 km (234 miles) of underwater lines and a maximum depth of 119.18 mts (391 ft) in El Pit cenote.

The El Pit Cenote is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful. It has an oval-shaped opening of 10 meters, and its main attraction is the lovely rays of light that cross the cavern’s crystalline water. You should take advantage of the views in the early morning hours and observe how the light rays pass through this impressive sinkhole from below.

Nicte Ha cavern line is available for recreational divers to enjoy beautiful speleothems around the cenote entrance in the cavern zone.
