With this full-day tour, you'll be able to leave Bucharest behind and travel through the scenic Carpathian Mountains to explore two authentic Transylvanian castles and the medieval town of Brasov. An English-speaking guide will tell you all about Romanian history, traditions and legends. Your tour will include a maximum of 16 people, aboard an air-conditioned minivan or bus.
The first stop will be at the famous Peles Castle, the summer residence of the Romanian royal family. You'll have a chance to visit the ground floor of the castle and get some free time to stroll in the gardens while enjoying the breathtaking mountain views. Your day will continue with a visit to the 14th-century castle known as the house of Dracula – the Bran Castle. Before heading back to Bucharest, you will visit the town of Brasov at the heart of Transylvania. With a short guided tour, you'll have the opportunity to walk through the historic center and learn more about the history of the picturesque city.
