This guided kayaking experience will give you the chance to explore the wildlife-rich waters off Byron Bay in Cape Byron Marine Park, home to bottlenose dolphins, whales, turtles, sharks and more. You'll learn about the local environment from local sea and surf experts, and enjoy all-you-can-eat Tim Tam chocolate biscuits on the beach at a designated beach stop. All safety gear is included, and you may also spot Pacific dolphins and common dolphins as you go.

During this beginner-friendly surfing lesson, you will be able to stand up and ride a wave for 131 feet. Once you arrive at the Kool Klatz Surf School, you will meet your instructor, who will help you learn to surf. You will start from scratch, and by the end of the experience, you will be able to ride a wave. Moreover, even if you aren't a beginner, you can take this course as a refresher.

On this experience, you'll get a chance to ride the waves at Byron Beach as you take a surfing lesson with an instructor. The lesson will begin with safety instructions, after which you'll warm up and learn how to paddle. You'll head into the waters, and your coach will teach you how to stand on the board. Over two hours, you'll learn the basics of surfing and can try catching some waves.

Out in the waters of Byron Bay, this adventure will get you up close to dolphins and other marine wildlife. Suitable for all levels of experience, the activity will take place in the sheltered bay where the waters are calm. You’ll be kitted out with safety gear before setting off in a two-person sea kayak, designed for maximum stability. As you paddle, you’ll get to look out for the area’s many dolphins and turtles, and in the winter season, you may even spot whales. Your guide will teach you more about the region, including Aboriginal history, and back on the beach, you’ll have a chance to relax and enjoy some refreshments.

Group lessons with Soul Surf School are a great way to experience surfing some of our world famous breaks in a group setting. We have a number of beaches to chose from in the Byron/Lennox/Ballina area, and our team are dedicated to finding the best, fun and safest waves every day. We run the lowest ratio of instructors to surfers in the area, at 1:7 for adults and from 1:4 for little ones. This ensures that all our surfers receive plenty of attention, individual feedback and all the groms are safe in the water. We have a great range of equipment, with over 80 fun safe soft surfboards and intermediate to advanced boards that will help you to learn faster and catch lots of waves. Minimum age 13yo.

ART & WINE CO is a sensory experience of creative arts by the sea. we host Adults Painting and Creative Arts Classes, Music & BYO Wine. Exploration of painting and art as you sip your favourite VINO and enjoy the sunset over Byron Bay. Leave with your own creative masterpiece.

Our Wildlife Safari takes you to three different habitats near Byron Bay. You’ll visit eucalyptus forest, rainforest and grassland to discover the animals that live there. We guarantee you’ll see a koala or two, a mob of kangaroo, and many species of bird. If conditions are right you may also see pademelon, echidna, tawny frogmouth and water dragons. Along the way you will be amazed at the abundant birdlife. On this tour we travel to where the animals live so it involves a bit of driving. We start with a 45-minute drive to our first stop and end the day with a 1-hour drive back to Byron Bay. In between there are short drives and walks. Once an old grazing land, thankfully the Anglican church in partnership with Bangalow Land and Rivercare Group have regenerated this area with hundreds of native plant species that are really important to Bundjalung people. During the tour, Delta points out a variety of these edible bush tucker plants, as well as plants used for natural medicine, jewellery, fibre, tools and weapons. She speaks about local indigenous history and shares traditional stories that have been passed down to her from her ancestors. There are opportunities to learn some Bundjalung language and we are sometimes lucky to see Binging the river turtle or Junbung the platypus.

This tour will give you a chance to explore the Brunswick River onboard a kayak. On the day of your tour, your expert guide will give you instructions and a safety briefing before the activity. Afterwards, you'll start your kayaking adventure across one of New South Wales' most beautiful river systems. As you paddle across the calm, crystal clear waters, you'll have a chance to admire local wildlife, including beautiful sea birds. There will also be a stop at the riverbank, to give you time to swim, relax, and commune with nature.
