We walk about 3 km in Okunoin feeling the sacred atmosphere created by hundreds of thousands of gravestones standing on both sides of the pass flanked by tall centuries-old cedar trees.

The last stop is the Danjo Garan area, the center of Koyasan's ascetic practices. Koyasan's symbolic pagoda and many other attractions, this is truly the heart of Koyasan. We will first walk up to the base ground of the majestic Wakayama Castle Tower and enjoy the nice view of the castle (Admission fee to inside castle tower is not included). We will talk about the history of the city and castle along the way. After visiting the castle, we will stroll through Downtown Wakayama area and show you the local people's life, tradition, culture, foods and so on.
