The location was excellent: a downhill walk from the train station and minutes from the ferry and the beginning of the lakeside promenade. The apartment had a cozy feel to it yet was was spacious for a studio apartment. We appreciated the washer and outside clothesline particularly. Our host was very helpful by sending a brief video of how to access the property and apartment.

Right in the heart of Varenna and less than 10 min walk to the ferry, this room was quite large by European standards and had an adorable little balcony which Im sad I wasn't able to use more. The bathroom was also large, though the shower was a bit small. Closet space, shelves, and room to set things in the bathroom though made up for the small shower. Lake Como towns are all about stairs and cobblestones, so that can't be avoided, however the location of this spot is perfect-near food and drinks and a quick walk down to the water. There's even a 24h laundry facility next door that has vending machines with snacks, coffee, and some small basic travel supplies. There's also an adorable and sometimes talkative cat named Antony that you may see!

Great position. 3 minutes from the train station and 5 to the boat and restaurants. Shop just next to the building. We enjoyed staying here for 3 nights and has everthing we needed.

The apartment was situated in a beautiful area near the lake overlooking the mountains on the other side. The apartment itself was also nice, clean and tidy, very spacious especially for 3 people. Victoria was a fantastic host. She was very warm in welcoming us, and very attentive to our questions and requests. The great reviews here are very true! You get the view, a great space, and a great host. Highly recommend!
