Surrounded by lush tropical vegetation, yet not far from Fort-de-France, this chambre d'hote was wonderful. The bedroom was quite comfortable, and I appreciated the air-conditioning on hot days. Fabrice is a good cook, so I asked him to cook several dinners for me. It was great to come back to a home-cooked meal after a busy day of exploring. I also appreciated having access to his swimming pool, and a large deck where I could practice yoga in the morning. I also enjoyed conversing with the other guests who shared breakfast and dinner with me. I spent a full week at Havre de paix and felt quite "chez moi" by the end.

Central location. Large terrace with breathtaking view of FDF! Pretty apartment (design, furniture, small plants, etc). Functional studio with air conditioning, TV and wifi, drying rack and ironing board, stove and microwave, toaster, and coffee machine. We loved the balcony with the beautiful view and the property came with a lovely pool. The room was clean and the property was well maintained. What we were most impressed with was the staff. They went beyond their requirement as we didn’t speak French. So helpful and they made our vacation easier to navigate.

Not too difficult to find if you're familiar with the European street/address style. The host was very easy to deal with and was available. The place was perfect, clean, spacious, and in the heart of town. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed. Home away from home.

What a great place to stay near the centre of Fort de France. It is a quiet area near to restaurants, cafes, a supermarket, street food and the covered market (with great local restaurants). Carl was very good at keeping in touch and the instructions were very clear for the self check in. I liked having the kitchen and table outside - the kitchen had everything you needed. The bed was comfy and the AC cooled the room.rapidly when I got in in the evening.
