What an absolute paradise! We loved everything about this place. The room with a breathtaking view in front of the Poor Knights Islands was just perfect. Fully equipped with toaster, coffee machine, beach towel and everything one can need on holiday, we enjoyed every part of the staying. The owner is incredibly nice and welcoming with her two super cute poodles!

Staying at Kauri Villas was a wonderful experience. When first arriving I was really stunned by the beautiful view overlooking mountains and a lake. My wife and I stayed in our own little cottage separate from the main house. The cottage was cozy, and the hot tub overlooking the sunset was magical. Also, the sheep were really cute, and we were able to feed them!

It is highly unusual and rustic. Many warm touches and enough tea towels and cookware etc so we are grateful. The location was very good for strolling along the river to the lower Basin of town and getting out to hike the heads
